+) wonderful location, placed on a souk street just 3 minutes walking to Jemaa el-Fna market. and about 5-10 minutes walking to bust station from where you can get off/ take the bus from/to airport (the ticket for L11 and L12 is only 4 dirham and L19 is 30 dirham. for L11 and L12 you have to wallk about 5 minutes from/to the airport).the towels was changed daily, we know for sure since they had different dirty spot on them :)Breakfast with different type of Marrocan bread and pastry and fresh orange juice but without any kind of meat. It was almost the same in the 4 days we stay there. It includes (not so good as others) mint tea.just door to door is a shop with price at the ceramic bowls started at 10 dirham (for which others ask at least 50 in the souk).The riad collaborate with a travel agency which offer "the best price" (the same 200 dirham for every tour, as other agencies in Marrakech ask / even others try to take more money from the tourists). Before you book a trip, maybe you want to know following details written at negative part of this review.-)the riad is suitable only for short stay since the room is very small.the bed was not double (even we book that), there was 2 twin bed put together with huge disconfort between them. Also, the bed was to short for somebody taller than 1.7m and there are a metal frame which create disconfort.1). the trip to Ourzazate should start at 7.30 when we was taken from the riad but we wait in the car until 8.15 (it is not riad fault, and maybe neither the agency fault since no matter which agency you pay, you can be in the same minibus). meanwhile is was funny that while we wait in the car, the driver did taxi service to take other tourists from there riad to Jemaa el-Fna market even they finally change the car for other trip (as they previously booked). Maybe having considerating the delay at departure, the driver drove too fast on curves in the mountains at about 2,300m high even some part the road was damaged. All the stops on the routes was at shops from where the tourists was expected to buy something in order to "help" driver/agency to receive a fee. Another stop was at a restaurant just near to Aït Benhaddou without a time limit, so the one who refuse to eat at that restaurant was "blackmailed" to waste their time waiting the one who eat to finish and waiting the guide given by the agency who ask 2 euro per person. To visit Ait Benhaddou is free of charge, you have to pay only if you want to climb the tower (10 dirham /1 euro).2). the trip to Essaouira costs also 200 dirham at the same agency but as they told us, the time spent in Essaouira is only 2 hours (maybe 1 hour wasted with lunch at a restaurant who offer fee). Other option to go to Essaouira is by public bus which cost 80 dirham per one way (+4 dirham per one way to go at the bus station). You can search for "Supratour" on google. We spent 4 hours in Essaouira and it was not enough.Before 30-45 minutes to Essaouira you can see on the main road at least 2 trees with at least 5 goats on each of them :)

Was a heater. So great ! Great jazz bar two doors down. Live music. Alcohol. Also great hamman in same place. Great cafe at the beginning of media. Approx 2 mins away. My daughter and me had an omelette. Chips. Olives. Bread. Mint tea. £3.80 for two of us. Also. A top. Exchange rate Heathrow. 7.9. Exchange shop. Opposite riad. 12.3. Huge difference. They don’t look at passport. No forms. And it seems like that everywhere. So thoroughly recommend.

Hotel location is good for couples and families but with family its bit of an exercise with no lift/disable access and small stair case.Rooms are good size but ensuite toilets aren't the best so please don't have any high expectation as you will be in a whole different world which is home to the people there. Take soap/shampoo as they will only provide you with hand wash,shower wasn't great either. But all people their were really helpful Taxi from/to airport during day is 100DHM or £9 approx after 8p.m its 150DHM so its recommended to just book taxi with hotel as it would be the same price. Bargaining is the key in Marrakech so if you're told the price is 100DHM make counter offer of 40 then go 60 max but check prices on couple of places/ people. Good luck Jaffri

Cozy room with AC and hot shower, comfortable bed, everything clean and charming, good breakfast on a quiet rooftop with views all over the Medina, nice receptionist, one minute walking from Djemaa el-Fnaa, and all this for just 300 dirhams per couple... Do I still have to say that I will stay there again the next time I'm in Marrakech?

My stay at Hotel Belleville was excellent, the rooms were quiet despite being near to the Medina and to the busy street. The breakfast on the balcony was lovely with great coffee! One day i needed to leave early so the worker organised my breakfast in advance. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds comfortable - definitely good value for money. Most of all i was touched by the owner and workers efforts to help me with a somewhat strange request - when i left the hotel i left a book behind which belonged to my sister and unbeknown to me at the time it had great sentimental value to her, when realising my mistake back in the UK i asked on the off chance if hotel belleville still had the book, luckily they did. They helped to send the book back to the UK and didn't even expect any money for it, when the book arrived me and my sister were so grateful & i wont forget the efforts of Belleville in helping me.
